To showcase the latest in electric vehicle innovation and Australia’s leading electric truck brand, the Sustainable Vehicle Solutions team were excited to host our first Foton Electric Trucks Drive Day on Thursday, September 7.

It was a perfect sunny day for our guests to get behind the wheel of the Foton T5 Electric Trucks and experience everything they have to offer. It was great to have so many people join us and drive our world-class zero emission trucks, many for the first time.

The Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park in Scoresby was the perfect location for this event. When guests arrived they were greeted with seven impressive Foton T5 EV trucks on display.

After having a quick look through these impressive EV Trucks, guests made their way into the Hyatt to attend an exclusive presentation from our extremely knowledgeable Foton Sales Manager, Grant Mitchell.

To begin, Grant took the opportunity to welcome our special guests and give them an overview of what was sure to be an exciting and action packed day.

The presentations were not only about Foton Trucks, but also how to make the switch to electric vehicles. Grant is an electric vehicle expert and he shared how Sustainable Vehicle Solutions will be with customers every step of the way to make the transition to more renewable resources as smooth as possible.

To provide even more information and insight, guests also heard from representatives from T-Power, QTRS Mitsubishi Refrigeration, Energy Australia, Geotab and Fredon. It was great to have them with us for the day as they were able to answer any questions our guests may have.

It was fantastic to see all three of these presentations well attended and how eager everyone was to find out more about how Sustainable Vehicle Solutions can work with their business and their journey to electrification, with our 100% electric Foton Trucks.

With a delicious smorgasbord for lunch and a selection of morning and tea treats available, we were ready for a great day of test drives and excited for the chance to show off what the Foton EV range can offer.

To highlight the versatility of Foton trucks, there was a variety of set ups to choose from and test drive, including a tipper, steel tray, refrigerated van and service body truck.

It was great to receive fantastic feedback on the day from all who attended.
